Abstract | The objective of this development is to create a leave management application for Fruity dry Co., Ltd., located in Tha Muang District, Kanchanaburi Province, aiming to enhance the convenience of leave management, reduce data errors, facilitate quick data retrieval, and enable employees to verify their own information. The programming tools utilized for this development are AppSheet and Google Sheets for database management.
The outcomes obtained from implementing the online leave management system include cost reduction in wasteful material expenses such as A4 paper and colored paper used for printing leave documents for employees each year. Moreover, the system decreases ink costs incurred from printing a large number of leave documents, thereby reducing material waste and enhancing convenience for employees.
The leave management system provides various conveniences to employees, including a user-friendly login system, a leave information display system, and a leave application system. It enables employees to easily add, delete, modify, and search for leave records using computer program formulas, ensuring accuracy and precision in data recording and storage.
The data analysis for this project involves utilizing basic statistical methods to analyze the data collected from the self-developed questionnaire tool, which serves as a means to gather feedback on user satisfaction with the leave management application. The questionnaire comprises two main sections: general information of the respondents and an evaluation of satisfaction with the leave management application.
By employing statistical analysis, the collected data can be thoroughly examined to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the leave management application, ensuring continuous enhancement and optimization of the system based on user feedback and preferences.
Results indicate:
Development of an online leave management application, upgrading leave processes from paper-based to online.
Organizations and personnel within them have engaged in real-time leave management and data storage.
Insight into personnel satisfaction with the leave management application reveals overall high satisfaction (x̄=4.50, S.D.=0.34), with each aspect rated highly satisfactory.
