Abstract | The purpose of this research were 1) to study the level of stress among intern students 2) to examine the factors affecting the stress levels of intern students and 3) to study stress management strategies for intern students. Data was collected through a questionnaire from 27 third and fourth-year students majoring in Interdisciplinary of school of science and technology at University of Thai Chamber Commerce. The research findings revealed that the average scores of factors influencing stress, ranked in descending order, included factors related to working while studying, stress from private hospital internships, professional success, intern student roles and responsibilities, teaching behavior of university professor, relationships with colleagues and peers at work. When studying the personal factors related to stress in each aspect, it was found that academic performance correlated with physical stress, monthly income correlated with cognitive and emotional stress, and the factors influencing stress for intern students in private hospitals were related to work during studies, university professor teaching behaviors, relationships with colleagues and peers at work, student responsibilities, and professional success. All these relationships were at a 0.05 level of statistical significance. |
