Abstract | Data centers consist of various types of network equipment. Physical access to the data center should be kept to a minimum, according to the controls of the international standard ISO27001 controls. Hence, the Network Operations Center (NOC) has been set up as a center for management and monitoring of the operations of network equipment. However, each network device has its management system. Administrators have to manually open each device's management and monitoring console for monitoring the operation of the equipment. Thus, the problem takes time to fix and makes an issue conclusion. Therefore, this article proposes a design and development of a network operations center dashboard system for network system monitoring and alert messaging for the university. When there is a problem with the network, our developed system will notify the administrator via the LINE application which leads to timely problem-solving. Additionally, NB-IoT employs the CoAP protocol to transmit some network device status data to the cloud. Administrators can always check the status of the devices even if there are issues with the internal network or the internet. From the evaluation of the system quality from experts, it was found that the system can monitor the status of the device in real-time. The system can alert the administrator via LINE and email when it discovers a network device that is malfunctioning or unable to provide service. The administrators can also use the cloud to check the device's status. System quality assessment results showed an average score of 4.43, which is high level.
