Rice is an economic crop of Thailand. Diseases and pests are major problem for rice production especially rice dirty panicle disease caused by Curvularia lunata affecting yields and qualities of rice start by flowering until post harvesting. For disease controlling many farmers decide to use fungicide causes remaining residue on product and in environment. For this reason, mangosteen peel crude extracts were used to control plant disease caused by fungi. Potato Dextrose Agar mixed with mangosteen peel crude extracts concentration at 0, 30,000, 40,000, 50,000, 60,000 and 70,000 ppm were tested for controlling rice dirty panicle disease. The result showed that all level of concentrations were highly significant difference to inhibit the growth of Curvularia lunata. At 70,000 ppm showed the highest inhibition with average diameter 1.57 centimeter of colonies. For sporulation of Curvularia lunata, the concentration of extracts at 70,000, 60,000, 50,000, 40,000 and 30,000 ppm were non-significant difference but able to inhibit sporulation and growth of Curvularia lunata while increasing of the mangosteen peel crude extracts concentrations.
