Abstract | This study aims to improving maize product in Uthai Thani province through the implementation of advanced crop models. This project began in 2022-2024 at farmers field, located in Khao Kwang Thong and Thung Pho of Nong Chang District. The farm is located in Soil Series Group 22, an area that typically receives an average annual rainfall of 1,000-1,200 millimeters. This project will be executed through four steps: 1) comprehensive data collection from farmers, 2) Decoding DSSAT4.7: Revealing Maize Genetic Coefficients for Improved Crop Production, 3) model evaluation and technological capability assessment, and 4) field-testing agricultural technology: ensuring practical effectiveness on farms. The results showed that the genetic coefficient of maize variety D-carb9898 was identified and used to evaluate the model's effectiveness using NRMSE, RMSE, and AI values. In conclusion, the analysis of the NRMSE, RMSE, and AI values indicates that the model performed well within acceptable limits. The AI value being close to 1 suggests strong performance, providing valuable insights for selecting the best technology for cultivating field corn in Uthai Thani Province. This involved considerations such as the cultivation of D-Carb9898 maize variety, utilization of fertilizers based on soil analysis results, and the adjustment of nitrogen levels to 1.5 times the recommended value. DOA method was proven effective in maize production during a study conducted from 2022 to 2024. Results showed that the DOA method yielded an average of 1,361 kg/rai, which was 203 kg/rai higher than the farmer's method. This 17.6 percent increase in yield led to higher income and returns, with DOA method generating 14,192 baht/rai, an 18.0 percent increase compared to the farmer's method. Additionally, the DOA method resulted in a return of 8,775 baht/rai, a 27.0 percent increase compared to the farmer method. DOA method demonstrates superior performance in income generation, with the study showing that the income per investment for the DOA method surpasses that of the farmer method. This highlights the economic benefits of adopting the test method in agricultural practices. Farmers in Uthai Thani provinces express high satisfaction with available technology, with 66.2 percent reporting the highest level of satisfaction. By using fertilizers based on soil analysis values and adjusting nitrogen levels to 1.5 times the recommended values, farmers can greatly increase maize yield for field corn in soil series group 22.
