The purposes of this study included the following: 1) to investigate the level of motivation factors and voluntary behaviors of the people in Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province, 2) to compare voluntary behaviors of the people in Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province on the basis of their personal qualities, and 3) to examine the influences of the motivation factors on the voluntary behaviors of the people in Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province. The samples were 397 people of Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire and statistics employed for data analysis comprised of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t – test, One – way ANOVA, and Multiple Regression Analysis. The study revealed these results. 1) The motivation factors of the people in Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province, as a whole, was at the high level (
=4.10). Contemplating each aspect, it was found that every aspect was at the high level. The one which gained the highest mean was the success aspect (
=4.17). Demonstrating the power gained the second highest mean (
=4.07). The relationship and connection gained the third highest mean (
=4.06). 2) As a whole, the voluntary behaviors of the people in Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province were at the high level (
=3.99). Contemplating each aspect, every aspect of the voluntary behaviors of Nawa District people, Nakhon Phanom Province was at the high level. Of these aspects, helping others gained the highest mean (
=4.02); sacrifice for the society gained the second highest mean (
=3.99); and determination to develop the society gained the third highest mean (
=3.96). 3) Comparing the voluntary behaviors of the people in Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province on the basis of their genders, ages, monthly incomes, and locations of their residences, it was found that their voluntary behaviors, as a whole, did not differ. When classifying their voluntary behaviors on the basis of their educational backgrounds and careers, the study showed that their voluntary behaviors significantly differed at .05 statistical level. 4) Regarding the influences of the motivation factors, it was found that the connection/ relationship (b = .236) and the demonstration of the power significantly influenced on the voluntary behaviors of the people in Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province at .05 statistical level. Both the connection/ relationship and the demonstration of the power could be used to correctly predict the voluntary behaviors of the people in Nawa District, Nakhon Phanom Province 48.20%. In contrast, success aspect did not influence their voluntary behaviors.
