บทคัดย่อภาษาไทย	สำนักงานคณะกรรมการการอาชีวศึกษา เป็นองค์กรหลักที่ผลิตและพัฒนากำลังคนอาชีวศึกษาให้มีคุณภาพและมาตรฐานเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงาน โดยเฉพาะในภาคอุตสาหกรรมที่จะปรับเปลี่ยนนำ เอาเทคโนโลยีเข้ามาใช้แทนคน นำเครื่องจักรมาใช้ในการผลิต โดยคนจะทำหน้าที่ในการควบคุมเครื่องจักรกล เน้นอุตสาหกรรมการออกแบบและความคิดสร้างสรรค์ที่ให้มูลค่าสูง ใช้แรงงานน้อยต้นทุนต่ำ ปรับเปลี่ยนเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เน้นเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรม ผลิตสินค้าคุณภาพสูงและมีมูลค่าทางเศรษฐกิจสูง ก่อให้เกิดรายได้สูงกว่าการลงทุนในระบบอุตสาหกรรมเดิมๆ จึงต้องผลิตคนเพื่อรองรับเทคโนโลยีขั้นสูงส่งผลต่อการเพิ่มขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศ ด้วยเหตุนี้ครูผู้สอนในสถานศึกษาอาชีวศึกษาจึงมีความจำเป็นที่ต้องมีการพัฒนาความรู้ และทักษะความสามารถในการเรียน การสอนอย่างจริงจัง เพื่อให้เป็นครูอาชีวศึกษาในยุค 4.0 ได้อย่างสมบูรณ์ โดยเป้าหมายเป็นบุคคลแห่งการเรียนรู้นวัตกรรมในยุค 4.0 ประกอบไปด้วย ทักษะการเรียนรู้และนวัตกรรม ทักษะสารสนเทศ สื่อและเทคโนโลยี และทักษะชีวิตและอาชีพทั้งสามด้านเป็นทักษะที่จำเป็นอย่างยิ่ง และครูผู้สอนอาชีวศึกษาจะต้องมีความรู้ ความเข้าใจ ทักษะการฝึกปฏิบัติ และเจตคติที่ดี รวมถึงสมรรถนะและความสามารถพื้นฐานด้านเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศและการสื่อสารที่จำเป็นสำหรับการศึกษาการประยุกต์ใช้ให้เกิดประโยชน์อย่างสร้างสรรค์
